A Sunday in Review

We have been here in Noorvik a little over two weeks. The weather has not been fantastic. I feel as though I have missed out on summer except for the three days I spent in Hawaii. As far as I am concerned being too hot for three days in a tropical paradise does not make up for the loss.

I know that this is just coincidence, but it seems that the only days we have had nice weather are Sundays. We'll see if my theory that Sunday = nice weather holds up to the test. This past Sunday was warm and sunny, perfect for berry picking. So that is what we did.

The small lake just down the hill from our house

Silas just hanging out. It won't be long before he is doing what Eloise is doing below.

One in the bucket, two in the tummy.

"How long do we have to be out here. I am just so tired of eating, I mean picking berries."

Wait, I have to bring all these rocks with me.

  1. Great pictures of the location, and your lovely faces. I'd love to see more. For instance, your house (both inside and out), the school, and the village up close. I realize it may be awhile before you get pictures of townsfolk. Thanks for posting.
